What is an Escape Room?
A 90 minute thrilling live game during which you are “locked” in a room with a team and have to use a series of clues and puzzles inside of the room to accomplish tasks that will lead you to escape!

Who can play this game?
All players must be at least 6 years of age. All minors must bring the EA waiver signed by their legal parent/guardian.
We encourage playing this game with friends, family, classmates, or colleagues. It’s a great bonding experience and a good team building exercise.
What are the benefits of playing this game?
We offer an experience different from other group activities. It’s the opportunity to test your concentration, observation, problem solving, and decision making competencies and we assure you, you will have a lot of fun.
Where are you located?
Exit Artists is located in the heart of Burbank off of the 5 Freeway, just minutes away from Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Hollywood.

Where can we park?
There is plenty of free street parking right in front of the main entrance on Victory. Parking can also be found on neighboring streets: Alameda Ave. and Valencia Ave. Be aware of street signs, especially before 6pm.
Parking is available in our private lot behind the building. Please make sure to arrange with us in advance so that we can provide access for your group.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday – Friday: 6pm – 2am
Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 2am
Holidays may affect these hours, please check our calendar for the most updated schedule.
Are we really locked in the room?
You can exit any time you like by pressing the panic button in the room, which will unlock all of the doors; this will however, stop the clock and end the game for all participants.
…But we promise, you’ll be having so much fun you won’t want to forfeit the game.
Will it be safe during the game?
Yes. There are no scary components to our rooms. You are able to exit if you no longer wish to play.
Your belongings will be securely stored in our lockers, and you will be allowed to keep the keys.
Are the rooms scary?
No. There will be nothing that jumps out at you or scares you. Our themes are not intended to frighten. Our games are fun and exciting and aim to engage our players to think critically and creatively.
Some players may be startled by the lights and noise effects, which again are not meant to scare the players but may occur suddenly.
Warning: Flashing lights and images may cause discomfort and trigger seizures for people with Epilepsy.
How long will we be at Exit Artists?
We ask that each group arrives 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to check in, go through the rules of the room, and cover the storyline of the mission. You will have exactly 90 minutes to play the actual game. Usually groups take about 15 minutes to take fun photos after the game ends. Plan to be at Exit Artists somewhere between 100 – 120 minutes.
What if we're running late?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate groups that are running late. Our games are scheduled to start on the hour and because we are often booked back-to-back we must abide by the schedule.
If groups are late, we do not allow them begin playing if it will run into the next time slot unless the time slot is free. It is our top priority to ensure a pleasant experience for all of our clients and we kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. If you are late, we may need to shorten your game time to accommodate the schedule.
There are no refunds or exchanges and we do not reschedule missed or late appointments, so in order to get the full 90 minutes to play, please ensure all players arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
Do I need any special skills or knowledge to play the games?
Absolutely not! The games are designed so that anyone and everyone can play regardless of skill or knowledge. All of the clues you will need will be found inside of the room; thus, no outside information will be necessary to win the game.
How many people will be in our room?
The player count for our room is between 4 – 8 players, but we can accommodate up to 12. Players can book separately through our online booking portal or call in to book as a group. We recommend 4 – 8 players. Please call us if you would like to play with more than 8 people.
Currently, due to COVID-19, we are only booking private games for each party.
